Capacities shown are based on a
maximum moisture extraction of 5% from 21% to 16% at 150
F using a bold sample of wheat. These capacities were obtained in ideal conditions based on the
appropriate British standards specifications for the test
of grain driers. The actual working capacity of the
machines was determined by the operating site - conditions
and the type of grain being dried. For example, a higher
throughput will usually be obtained with wheat than with barley.
